What Attracts Tourists to Tenerife

Day Trippers also enjoy the wonderful delights of Tenerife.  The port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has become a favoured destination for some of the major Cruise Liners as a stopping off point for day trips.  The normal daily schedule is docking at 6.00am for twelve hours, giving passengers the opportunity of not only exploring the capital itself but also the resorts on the island.  There is also enough time to take an excursion to Mount Teide - a chance not to be missed.  Recently, the largest cruise ship in Europe, Liberty of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean International, docked in the port.  With a capacity of approximately 4,500 guests who all enjoyed the delights of the island, it’s no wonder the Island’s Tourist Authorities welcome this and many other Luxury Liners.
